[PRODIG] repairing scuff marks on premium luster paper

I had a print made by a friend on premium luster paper (from an epson 
7600).  There are some minor scuff marks on the paper that I'd like to 
be able to hand retouch (old school!) as it's not possible to reprint.

Does anyone have experience doing this?  Any suggestions are most 
welcome.
