Hello list
I need to replace a Broncolor flash pack and am trying to decide between the battery operated Mobil or the Topas A2.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these packs?
In particular the flash duration on the Mobil looks long on the spec. (1/230s at t 0.1, 1/680s at t 0.5). Could this be a problem in practice? Also what's the battery life like?
The Topas is supposed to be better able to maintain a colour temperature across the power range which may be helpful when shooting digitally. Is this the case?
I shoot mostly portraits, mostly on film but would like to switch to a Kodak Pro SLRn if I can persuade a few clients to accept it. (Can of worms there I expect!).
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Gino
