I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but Dr. Brown's Image Processor (it's an apple script) (www.russellbrown.com) will batch process opening up raw files, applying raw conversions and converting to tiffs (and jpgs & psd's if required) all in one go. I use this on CS so I'm not sure if it'll work on other PS versions.
