â Learning AppleScript Studio â $1495 per participant.

Seems like the cost of the learning curve has just jumped up a notch!

Most software companies have user forums where they learn the shortcomings of their software for free. Perhaps photographers should start charging for posts to these forums.

For those UK-based persons interested in learning how to work with Applescript -- and specifically how it can be used with iView MediaPro -- there are two (2) spots available for TECSoft's Sep. 21-23 hands-on AppleScript class at Apple's Uxbridge office (near Heathrow). There are costs associated with the course, it is not a free training session.

One of the six modules in this class focuses on scripting iView MediaPro, as do three of the nine main exercises. Attendees are taught how to script iView MediaPro and how to integrate it into an automated publishing workflow along with FileMaker Pro and InDesign.

And, MOST IMPORTANT, please contact them DIRECTLY (no posts to me or to the Prodig list) with questions or to register for the session.
