Francis I don't use the facility in CS I prefer Kodiaks own Photodesk which is fairly quick. I suggest you download it if you have not done so and give it a try I agree with Ian Reynolds ,the NX or Pro images are visibly better than the N An upgrade will cost �900 or so,well worth it.
