The ibook was only going to be used as a backup, I prefer the larger screen size of the powerbook, however, if the firewire port on an ibook
won't power a H25, I'm destined to buy a spare powerbook that I'll never use, shame because I can buy a 1ghz ibook for about 580 with an AOP discount from apple. Does anyone have any experience of running a H25 from an ibook?
Phase One have been very helpful, as they always have with me. The error code E00002D6 is not a phase one code but a system code from apple and relates to a power issue.
The solution is to use the "portable power supply", and my local dealer will loan me one for the location whilst I'm away, also I have updated the C1 Pro software to 3.5.1 and the back is stable so far. I will continue to keep testing it at home and in the office.
Thanks so far.

I was advised that the portable solution should always be used when not connected to the mains.
I was also informed that the power delivered to the firewire ports on Mac
iBooks is not sufficient for running Pase One H20 or H25.
