Are there any special techniques I should try to remove the unwanted colours? They do not appear to be directly related to Chromatic Abberation.

Dear Bob,

I raised this issue a few months ago and it was discussed in depth re CA etc. It was felt that it was not so much CA but some sort of spillage of light into adjacent pixels casuing the problem. Whatever, most bright water shots at various points around the image can have this magenta/green effect. I have very successfully removed these using a straight forward de-saturate / colourize (occasionally), adjustment on a separate layer then cutting through using one as a mask (not trying to patronise in any way). I have just produced a set of A1 exhibition prints for my show in Penrhyn Castle and you would simply not question there had ever been an issue. I know it's a bugger having to do the retouching and I wish it was not there in the first place but this basic approach really does work. Ring me if you wish.

Kind Regards,
I'm down your way next week for my pasty fix,

Glyn
