Some great tips in this thread. A question to carry on the "low-tech solutions," what cloths & film cleaners do members use to clean film prior to scanning without scatching? I was mortified to find recently that that my favourite Kodak film cleaner was no longer available as it contained a chemical that kills the ozone layer. Unfortunately some of my old slides appear to have quite a lot of the ozone layer on them.
