Juergen, I have been using the Archos AV-320 for that function. It will not display a NEF (raw) file but it shows the full name and the file size using a windows-like browser. You can get up to 80 GB drives and you can have extra batteries to swap as needed. It has a fast USB-2 and very conveniently shows up as an external hard drive when hooked to a computer. See: http://www.archos.com/download/spec_sheets/archos_av300_series_en.pdf There are several user groups dedicated to it. They have even written an open source operating system for it! I have not tried any of that but here is a link to one of them: http://shanebrinkmandavis.com/homepage/Archos/AV300/ Bertho =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
