Dear List, I have just had a high res [120mb] Crosfield drum scan done which opens as a 'untagged PictureViewer document'. On questioning why it didn't have a profile, I was told that no one had ever asked them that. Is this usual?
Should I assign my working space [Adobe RGB] and re-save or should I insist they provide the scan with an embedded profile? Is there any disadvantage in assigning a profile to a scan without one at this stage assuming they are using the same working space? [I think they're using Adobe RGB]. I'm using PS6.0.1 and OS9.2.2.
