[PRODIG] #$*& vuescan incrimental file names

Have someone asking me for advice I should be able to give  - but woe is 
me  - cannot even find the info on google..

there is a ? # or something or other character that one puts into the 
'output' file name field which forces each subsequent manual scan to file 
to add a number to the file name

i.e. scan001 scan002 scan003 each time
(btw not talking about batch scanning with a batch  enabled scanner - they 
are just doing one after the other with a flat bed)

should be obvious but it aint
