Hi there,

I observed strange behaviour of PS CS: An 8 bit adjustment layer uses almost no additional file space, a 16 bit adjustment layer wastes nearly the same amount as a normal image layer - layer masks deleted in both cases, of course. That makes more than 200MB for a 120MB image plus adjustment. Does any of you have any idea why this is so? To my understanding, a 16 bit adjustment layer should need the same amount of data as it's 8 bit counterpart, doesn't it?

All the best
Otto
