I have recently moved from london to brasil, and now need a new computer which i will be sharing with a retoucher. i have always bought pc�s off the shelf, but now have to buy all the bits from paraguay and get it put together. not knowing my mother board from my whatever, i have a dilema. any help would be greatly appreciated, and sorry to the list mum if this is inappropriate. the computer will mainly be used to retouch single images at a time. the spec i have been advised on is cpu intel s478 p4 3.20ghz pc800 1 mb box mb s478/800 asus p4s800-d s/r sata 2 times hd sata 80 gig seagate 7200 rpm/8mb hard drives 2 512 mb pc400/3200 ddr memory vga-agp8x 64mb g4 mx440 ddr tv/dvi dvd/cd rw dvd/cd r floppy 1.44mb the advice is not from a photographer so i was wondering on your thoughts, and if this machine is lacking in a particular area, should we up the spec money allowing etc many thanks, David Richards (feeling like a fish out of water)
