Hi All,

I've had my Fuji S2 for over 18 months now and the sensor is in need of
cleaning. I know I can send it to a company like Fixation to have it cleaned
but I will be without the camera for a few days.

Can anyone recommend a cleaning kit (preferably that they have used
themselves) that will do the job? Or is it better to leave it to a
specialist company?

Kind regards,

Neil

I dont know if I did something monstruous, but I was a little upset with the amount of dust my D60s sensor was showing. I simply picked the brush that comes with those blowers that come in lens cleaner kits, adapted it to a vacuum cleaner in a way that I could control the power of the "air-sucking", and cleaned the sensor. The advantage is that you dont simply move the dust particles, but actually suck them off.
No more dust so far.
