Andy
I have converted the 2100 (UK version of 2200) to CIS using the Lyson setup, and am very happy with the results. Some on this list have had problems though.
You have the choice of Fotonic (dye based) and Fotochrome (pigment based) inks. And you will need profiles for the various papers you use.
I think I am on my third bottle set now (125ml) and it has paid for the initial outlay (according to my dodgy maths!!!!).
General usage tip is to use it regularly and ensure you have a good nozzle check. Any clogging can usually be cleared by the clear Windowlene tips outlined on this list and on other sites.
I have no experience of the Cave Paint system as I think it is US. But I have heard about it throught the InkJetMall site.

Hope this is not bumped by MOM...does any one have experience, thoughts on converting an Epson 2200 from oem inks to a cis system? I have been looking at either the Cave Paint or Generations G Chrome inks, but I am open to ANY input. Thanks
