I've adopted this as the only way I will handle conversions, as I work
on a couple of different machines and often change the working space
setups depending on the job. Rather than try to remember what the
working space is at any given time, I just always use the "Image >>
Mode >> Convert to Profile" and choose the profile I want to convert
to, and then there's never any confusion.

Annoying isn't it! I recorded some convert to CMYK actions/droplets and I wanted to do one for SWOP and another for Euroscale, but found that they both convert to the working CMYK space rather than the specified space. Which means every so often I forget to switch my working space when doing US pix and end up with Euroscale, or is there a way around ?
