The purpose of this e-mail is to introduce myself to all concerned. My name is Luther Hert. I am a retired public service employee. Currently, I am involved in the development of a fine arts photography business. My age is 61. I do landscapes, wild life, and nude studies.
Most of my work is in digital photography, but I still use a Nikon FE, Canon 35 mm EOS 3, and a Canham Field Camera with 5x7 and 4x10 backs. My Digital Camera is a Canon EOS -1 DS.
I print digitally with an Epson 960, 2000P, and a 4000. I joined the forum to improve my professionalism and to share information with other like minded persons. The listing of the equipment that I use is basically what I will discuss or ask about in postings. This also includes the use of software and any other related accessories.

Continuity - keep Quoted Text to an absolute Minimum
Quote just enough so that people new to the discussion can make sense of what you are saying.

If you are a consultant or someone with a product or service that needs to be referred to as part of an ongoing discussion, do so. If the Listowner finds the posting pushy or you beat the drum too frequently expect to be unsubscribed without warning.
This List does not carry advertising. Direct & pushy promotion of existing products by manufacturers or distributors is not permitted.
However membership of and participation in the list by Manufacturers, Distributors and Service providers is keenly encouraged.
If a user has posted factually incorrect information, manufacturers or distributors should of course correct the facts, and helpful advice and pointers from manufacturers will doubtless influence list members' perception of them and their products.
