Is it time for a new monitor???? Am just starting out as an editorial photographer so don't have a great deal of money to shell out and would rather not have to buy if possible. Have considered a Lacie Electron Blue 19 (around 270) - is this a decent monitor does anyone know?
Dear Matthew
Your monitor is your viewfinder on your digital pictures, so it pays to get the very best you can afford and bin it after about three years use, if you want to achieve the best results, unless your name is Dan Margulis! Even then I bet he does not use a bottom of the range one!
A bigger than 19" screen and one with a high refresh rate if it's a CRT is a good investment in quality, comfort and efficiency and is definitely not a luxury....think of it as you would a lens purchase but with a very short life<G>
Cheers
