Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction towards some appropriate reading on the topic of optimising images for web - can't see it in the archive anywhere.
I am setting up my website, using a template provided by amazing internet ltd, but I find that when I upload images they appear washed out - all the real vibrancy of the colours has gone. I know that web graphics only use a limited number of colours but perhaps someone could help me with how to make the best of the colours available ?
I must be doing something wrong because when I look at other sites that use the same templates that I am using to create the site they do not appear to be washed out. Nothing in any of my books really covers this, so if anyone could help and/or point me at some required reading I would be v grateful.
