Well, Phase One doesn't seem to offically support tethered shooting for anything else than their back's. I lost around 50 shots when I tried this combo for the first time a few months back (and posted on the list). Images showed up as thumbnails within C1 Pro but when I was back at the office some were missing. It seemed to be linked to the camera auto power off. I have done tethered shooting since where I have disabled the auto power off and all has been ok.
I have also tried the Canon software and it works fine + you can fire the camera from the computer as well. Unless you own C1 Pro I would just use the Canon software that came with your camera. Purchaseing C1 Pro just for tethered shooting is far to expensive. If you DO have it, is there any special reason why you choose to use Adobe Camera RAW instead of C1 pro? Most of the pro's I know that own the 1Ds prefer C1 Pro (me included) - esp on the PC platform.
