Why not just create the css file and register it yourself? IMO, use ArchGenXML for the basic content type generation if you like, but don't assume that it'll do everything for you. I really do not think it was intended to do that. Also, ArchGenXML is nice, but I think it may be left behind soon with all the new content type stuff with dexterity(someone can correct me if I'm wrong) since we'll just have GUI within Plone to do it anyways.
