It is both exciting and terrifying. Terrifying because we have never spent
so much money on anything before in our lives!

We spent several years and about $100K renovating our last house. Been
there, done that. I hope we never do it again.

I am hoping that the new house and the location will be able to curtail
Steve's constant problems with bronchitis and pneumonia. It is being built
with kiln-dried lumber and being framed in the dry season, and we hope that
means there will be no black mold problems.

Steve keeps getting sick. He has been recovering each time so far, but I do
worry that one of these times he won't.
