This is debatable. I was watching a programme about paedophiles last year, and they interviewed several of them. Many admitted that had a problem, and that what they did was wrong. However, they felt unable to resist their urges. Paedophilia is not just a sexual orientation, it is a compulsion. Paedophiles indulge in behaviours that are outside the domain of other sexual orientations. They hoard photos, images, locks of hair, items of clothing, form paedophile rings etc. None of these behaviours are found (or found to the same extent) in other sexual orientations. One paedophile on this programme had two lockup garages full of items that he had collected over a lifetime of abusing children.
