I don't know how much of the hype you got over there, but stuff like
"the greatest team the US has ever sent to the WC", along with
predictions that Brazil would be shocked by how good the US team was
made for a huge buildup that resulted in a huge letdown after the
Czech game. I've seen that team play many games in the qualifying
rounds and the friendlies before the Cup, but can honestly say I've
never seen them look anywhere near as bad as they did on Monday.
