To All,
Thanks to you all for the feedback regarding the VFP Organiser project. Over
the last couple of days I've cleaned up the code in the initial
"evaluation", added features that should have been there to start (but I was
too excited to release the initial evaluation I didn't have time) and fixed
the bugs regarding Multi User and auto anchoring/sizing which was a little
fragile. Also the application runs as a form in its own right without the
VFP window and uses an external datasource to feed the appointments into the
calendar (currently a VFP table) which will be augmented with a MySQL link
as soon as I can test it out fully.

In case you are not aware I have also set up a personal Blog which will give
details (amongst other things) of my progress on the additional
modules/enhancements detailed above at www.replacement-Software.co.uk/blog
and a download link for the latest version and VFP9 Runtime files should you
need them.

You will need at least a 1024x768 screen to load the program (does anyone
still use 800x600?) and VFP9 to edit the source code or VFP9 runtime just to
run the EXE as I use anchoring and bindevents. You are welcome to try the
software with VFP8 but I personally don't have a copy as it was REALLY
fragile - let me know f it works.

I have enclosed a copy of the current source as well as an "EXE". To just
look at the program/test it all you need to do is unpack the ".exe" and the
Data folder onto your machine and then run the EXE. The software will run
multi-user and refresh the networked calendars at an interval time as
specified in the demo (currently 20 seconds as the value is in
milliseconds).

Please take time out to read the readme file in the project.

Remember clicking the bar on a day will open up the blank events for inserts
as will selecting the show blanks option in the small control panel.

Once again I would appreciate any feedback good or bad as it wuill help to
keep me going in the programming front while I watch the World Cup!!!

Things to do
------------------
Drag/Drop for events to move them as well as delete them
MySQL Linking Demo
Error Handling (Minimal at present)
Documentation - documenting the calls to an external database etc
Addition of a live dockable toolbar (As per the background picture)

Contacts/Email Section
Notes Pages section
Linking Contacts/Events/Notes together

If you want to be on the mailing list for distribution of future releases
please just let me know. I already have about 15 people "enroled" as my
testing Army.
