Heya Stephen. I think the people who made up the legislation were only skimming 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand. Thats' a pity, cause if one actually READ it, cover to cover, one might get the concept that AWNAA is actually a bad idea, and can lead to a grinding-stop type of society as put forth in the book.
