We get some really good tax breaks in California for installing solar. Also, we had to do energy calculations on our house as part of the building process. The Lindal houses are so well insulated that they do very well. After getting a $600 electric bill during the summer months at our old house, I'm very aware of just how much money can be wasted by a leaky house and a big heat load. > Most people forget to even look at this kind of stuff before > they buy or build. California electric bills are huge. Most of us can't afford to forget to think about it. -- Kris www.shamrocktrails.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
