Michael and Andy,
Be aware the Sys(1037) acts in a completely different way in VFP9 as it does
in VFP7 though! That was a real gotcha for me when I converted over. 

Look at how the Default Printer and VFP Default printer change after using
Sys(1037)

well afaik there's no option unless you are developing using the 'live'
printer - and this isn't *really* hacking:

SELECT (yourFRX)
GO TOP
* REPLACE Expr WITH "", Tag WITH "", Tag2 WITH ""      && loses size &c.
REPLACE  Tag WITH "", Tag2 WITH ""      && preserves size &c.

or there's SYS(1037) - which moves [printer info] in a mysterious way <g>
