Well, as we ALL know, we don't need a missile defense system because
in the modern age obviously NOBODY is crazy enough to fire any long
range missiles.
In other news, democracy in the Middle East cannot possibly work. Life
was better and the world was more stable and liked us better when the
dictators and mullahs brutalized their own people, bred terrorism, and
controlled the world's supply of oil.

The sarcasm might be relevant if anything you stated were true.
Otherwise it's just fantasy.
