Steve had some fun commentary about the munitions found buried along the Iran/Iraq border that the right was trying to pass off as WMD worth going to war over...
Steve's grandfather - Henry McDaniel, lied about his age and enlisted at 17 when they were fighting Poncho Villa in Mexico with Blackjack Pershing. He then left and fought in WWI, and was a "runner". While in theatre of battle in Europe, he was gassed with sarin/mustard gas, so badly that they were going to send him home and put him on disability for the rest of his life. He turned it down and said he was going to finish the war with his buddies. He stayed in the infantry for the duration of the war. He came home, bought some mules and wagons and started a cement hauling company. He helped build Aztec Bowl and Palomar Observatory. He finally died at 70 from lung cancer. IOW, the munitions found at the Iran/Iraq border are NOT WMD worth going to war over. -- Kris www.shamrocktrails.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
