And when you are a soccer fan, you might miss all of the other action that doesn't necessarily result in a goal. Sure, the goals are exciting, but watching a well-executed attack that is then foiled at the last moment by a brilliant defensive play and turned into a counter-attack is what soccer fans live for, not the goals.
