Andy,
I was there on contract for 3 months at the time they moved from Clipper 3
over to Foxpro. Unfortunately Clipper 5 arrived too late as in my oppinion
it would have been a better platform. I worked for a guy called John Goodwin
who tried to convert me to RM Cobol. It was OK but just so long winded. At
least the Microfocus Cobol offering matured (and is still there I think) to
include rudimentary OOPS.

However the good 'ole Fox has stood the test of time so maybe they were
correct after all.

interesting - I did some work  for them decades ago (a security review
iirc) - I thought they were a 'Clipper' house (and COBOL of course!).
