Unfortunately it happens about once a week so it's a proverbial needle in a haystack ...
I have changed the code anyway, to only SET LIBRARY TO just before I need it and RELEASE LIBRARY straight after. Also I was using STRTOFILE, I changed it to an unbuffered FREAD.
