It seem the neo-conservative Bush Administration is up to its old tricks. If the Administration can't have its way regarding treatment of prisoners or treatment of Americans, like reporters, whose loyalties seem less than absolute in step with the Administration's agenda; because of the guarantees granted by the constitution, and the Bush Administration has not been able to destroy or weaken the Constitution and Bill of Rights by Constitutional amendments; then the Administration will just do a end run around the Constitution by enacting new law legislatively, stripping US citizen of their constitutional rights. This is a sad state of affairs.
