I think it may have been a bit overblown, but I agree with the theme:
HP is in the middle of a great big flap now. They have likely broken
the law and certainly infringed on the privacy of their own board,
employees, members of the press and their families. It's not clear
that upper management knew the extent to which hired thugs attempted
to install keyboard loggers on journalists machine and other
questionable practices, but the board has been lukewarm about
condemning the practices. If it was just an overzealous contractor who
thought he could play Spy vs. Spy, it's one thing. If it was
authorized by upper management it's another.  It's become another
little tawdry "who knew what and when" cover-up. To put on a little
skit claiming to be responding to the audience, who only wanted to
know when the lot of them would resign, was disrespectful.

It was just a users meeting. At the shareholder's meetings, I expect
to see serious consideration that the board step aside.
