No, I'm not surprised. Nor am I surprised that those who claimed that the Iraqis would welcome us as liberators, or those who claimed that the Iraq war would pay for itself, or that it could be done in six months with a minimal number of troops, or that "Mission Accomplished" was not a joke, or that we were in the last throes of the insurgency, or any of the other lies that have been repeated over and over, are still delusional.
