I guess I did not make it clear, or maybe I didn't even imply it BUT The problem is really that you are changing fonts in the middle of the line. You are going from _screen.FontName to font clause 1 to font clause 2 to _screen.FontName and then repeating. It does not matter which font is used; only that there are different fonts being used. It may have something to do with font metrics and keeping track of the @ coordiates.
