NASA predicts every year that temperatures will be higher and amazingly they are. Other organisations are a little less predictable and it is considered by most actual scientists that there has been negligible warming since 1998. NASA is a funny mob. In 2007 they said temperatures had actually DROPPED and then the next year said there had been rises ever year for the previous 10 years. This is the kind of crap that discredits otherwise excellent groups. UK Bureau of Meterology annually predicts that the 'next year will be the hottest year ever in the UK' and is routinely mocked by record cold. This has happened so often that the British Parliament ordered an enquiry into just how they could be so wrong so often and unapologetically so.
