Also a useful reference point. And Paul McNett was on the bleeding edge for
running VFP under WINE back in the day so you might want to search for his
comments on the subject.

Subject: Runtime Filename VFP5.0a

Hi guys

I was an active participant in all incarnations of the Fox mailing lists, from
when they began right through to 1999 when I took on the task of publishing a
64-page monthly computer magazine. Then followed chaos.

All email messages from those various lists are now Zipped and spread far and
wide across what used to be a small home network, but now comprises scattered
loose disks, backups of backups and spare copies etc. I use Linux for Internet
and kept one old Win XP machine in running order.

Fortunately VFP still runs on that machine, despite having been moved several
times over the past decade. I want to complete development of a small APP I
began in 1997 and will rebuild the Win machine and then re-establish the entire
development environment

In the meantime I want to try running the app on Wine, but I can't find the
runtime file(s). The app runs okay from within VFP, but I don't want that
right now.
