OK I now have code which runs when the report is saved ...
Procedure Execute(oEvent)
Go Top In FRX
Replace Tag With "" In FRX
oEvent.SetHandledByBuilder(.T.)
oEvent.SetReloadChanges( .T.)
EndProc
But after the report has been saved Tag still contains the original stuff that
was there

More progress - setting Objtype and Objcode to -1 in the frxbuilder table
allows the code to fire ....

Thanks Dave
I have added a record to the frxbuilder table with Record type "H" (event
handler), class "ExitHandler", library "frxhandlers.prg" and event type "6"
(layout is being saved to disk". Unfortunately when I save a report the
messagebox invoked by the ExitHandler class is not being displayed ...

Paul,
Just sent you the pdf "What's new in VFP9" which has a full chapter on
extending the report builder. It was a free issue when VFP9 came out.

Ah, I see now.
Where are you trying to put your code in the Report Builder Event Handler?
