Oh lookie here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_War_II_casualties#Casualties_by_country Japan got 2 a-bombs dropped on them and they only lost .8 percent of their civilian population. Germany got bombed and firebombed into oblivion, and they only lost 2.6% of their civilian population (not including the Jews who were slaughtered by Germans) So I guess a greater percentage of people have died in Iraq than in Germany or Japan.
