I have a client who has been told, "Can I wait til my unemployment runs out
before I start?"

Subject: [OT] People don't want to work

Here are some interviews with employers. They cannot find enough people who
want to work. The people are finding they make more by collecting
unemployment benefits, food stamps, etc. Or they work three months to
qualify for unemployment then leave.

In the interview one company refuses to talk to anyone who comes in on
Friday or who hasn't actually worked for the past 90 days because they know
these people are just fulfilling the requirement that they are out looking
for work.

Two months ago some Republicans tried to block extending Federal
unemployment for another 52 weeks but the bill got passed anyway. They were
right. Now people are taking advantage of the new rules.
