Hey, folks -- -- - --- ... --- In my W7 c:\ directory tree, there is a directory called Windows.old. There appears to be a bunch of stuff in there.
In Googling about it, I see contradictory information (shocking for M$ stuff, I know). Also confusing, as it seems most people have it because they upgraded from Fista to W7. I didn't do that -- this was a clean install. (It is actually a VM on my Mac using Parallels.) Does anybody know definitively: Is this something I can purge?
