I'm not sure really Ken. But I think it's to do with a bug in VFP where it does not recognise a type 'General' in collate. But the table I had the problem with, and the first and only table I did after the SP2 + hotfixes update was created in Taiwan. I have not tried to put collate back to General to see what happens. Al
