Desmond,
Look at the data environment and any relationships you have. If you have
changed any index files nut not the relationships then this will cause the
same error.

Hi Desmond!

I've seen some freaky things like that before...I invest about 10 
minutes on it (after finding that working solution as you did), and then 
I close the case file and chauk it up to the boogie man.  ;-)
