Dan: My HTML is very simple and it looks fine when viewing as text in
Thunderbird. I will check the others. My concern was if someone is
using a text only client. From what I am hearing there isn't many out
there. This program is for small businesses sending emails to their
clients. Most - if not all - will be viewing web mail, Mac or Windows
using a client that came with their computer or they will install one
that they feel is superior to the one that came with their computer. I
have also noticed that several companies that send me email - Verizon
for example - do not send a text alternative and their HTML looks fine
when viewed as text.

In the final analysis I am going to "do it right" and get this multi
part thing working. I already did it in Python but for this project I
needed a sophisticated interface. The Python SMTP lib works very well
and is easy to set up. Because of time and because it is part of a VFP
application I made the decision to do it in VFP.

Next time...
