Here I am again with a rookie question. The system I am trying to develop will bill students (1)-team once-per-month.. could be twice a week up to 4-times per week depending on level. So an attendance record would be . date/which month/athleteID with a Boolean attended/absent. Then (2) there are recreation students that pay by session (4 or 5 week sessions once or twice per week) would be sessionID/date/athleteID with attended/absent field . it gets complicated here because in the summer session the clients can choose 6, 8, 9, or 11 weeks but must specify which weeks they will attend so we can staff each class according to expected enrollment that week.
You can imagine how my head is swimming but I want to be able to pull up a class, specify a session/date and see a list of who is supposed to be there (athletes) to take roll. If I can figure this out, I would say it would be my first product that truly I should market, especially if it could be implemented on a cloud or at least a wifi environment. I always think big and I would really like to develop a skill bucket of photographs/videos to have as a library to enable a per student report card,,, acquisition of skills and even a homework library for motivated students that want to progress to higher levels. what they need or what they could do at home (safely) to enhance development. Gym-time can be expensive and hard to provide. We have waiting lists to enroll. Our office person is minimally trained and doing everything in excel, one session at a time and billing with quick books.
