I am at my wits end! I have been interfacing with the Google Calendar
for months. Lately I attempted to download events that are entered on a
smart phone, etc. If I enter the event in my application I get an event
id back from Google. I save that in the file and I can locate that
event from my app. So I can do everything from my application.
The problem is that the only thing I can do the other way is download
events and enter them in my app. Again I save the number, but you can't
find that event using the number that was downloaded. If the title
doesn't change, I can find the entry. But that requires users to not
change titles. And there is no way to delete (I use delete & insert for
updating) an entry.
I have googled it and tried many variations of the request. What I am
getting is a 302 redirect. I have tried using the id where the entry
was redirected and all sorts of suggestions, but I am stumped.
So I can do basically everything except delete or update an event that
was entered on a smart phone or through the web interface.
Can anyone in here shed some light on this? I am using Python and am
using the latest gdata and atom versions.
TIA
