Google on "Rotating Video Files" :)
I did - and found among other solutions (i.e. Windows Movie Maker
which seems to distort the height-width ratio) VirtualDub
<http://www.virtualdub.org/> which works very well but only creates
LARGE avi-files so I use another prog to convert them to mpg
<http://www.yasasoft.com/yasaavitompeg/>
In VirtualDub you need to select the codec to use for video & audio
compression, otherwise it will save as uncompressed. See compression
under the video menu. Depending on what you want to do with the video
something like XVID (free, open source, aka mpeg4) is pretty good.
It can't create mpeg files though, but I think it can read them.
