I need to use transactions on free tables.
I know how to use maketransactable() and istransactable().
However, I have a question concerning cursoradapters (or views);
If I create cursor adapters for all free tables, previously making them
transactable, can I use transactions?
The following statement from VFP Help is what confuses me:
quote
You cannot use MAKETRANSACTABLE( ) to enable transactions for a free
table that has table buffering enabled.
unquote
What exactly does it mean?
Do I have to open the tables, make them transactable before creating the
cursor adapters?
Should I forget about maketransactable() and still use transactions
because I am using cursor adapters?
I can't understand the statement from help
